PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 2026 Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Snowmass Water & Sanitation District will be held at the Administrative Offices of the District at 0177 Clubhouse Drive, Snowmass Village, Pitkin County, Colorado on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. for the consideration of business pending before said Board of Directors. Any taxpaying electors of the District or interested persons may attend the meeting, which will be open to the public.

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SNOWMASS WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT CALLING AN ELECTION ON NOVEMBER 3, 2026, FOR ELECTOR CONSIDERATION OF A DEBT AUTHORIZATION BALLOT MEASURE; SETTING THE BALLOT TITLE AND CONTENT FOR THE BALLOT MEASURE; AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO

7.         SNOWMASS WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT RESOLUTION NO. 3

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SNOWMASS WATER AND SANITATION DISTRICT DECLARING ITS OFFICIAL INTENT TO REIMBURSE ITSELF WITH THE PROCEEDS OF A TAX-EXEMPT FINANCING FOR CERTAIN CAPITAL EXPENDITURES UNDERTAKEN OR TO BE UNDERTAKEN BY THE DISTRICT; IDENTIFYING THE CAPITAL PROJECT; AND PROVIDING CERTAIN OTHER MATTERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.

General Information - the District Manager may present verbal reports on miscellaneous matters of general interest to the Directors. These reports are for information only and require no action by the Directors.

 

Discussion Items - the District Manager may present verbal reports on matters of interest that may require action by the Directors.

            Non-agenda items may include other business and communications or supplemental agenda items.

 

14.       Executive Session - None

 

During the course of conducting the business set forth on this agenda as a regular meeting of the Board, the Chair may convene the Board in closed session to consider matters pursuant to the Colorado “Open Meetings Law”, §24-6-402(4)(b), C.R.S., as noted.

 

Reports relating to (a) the purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale of any real, personal, or other property interest; (b) conferences with an attorney for the public entity for the purposes of receiving legal advice on specific legal questions; (c) matters required to be kept confidential by federal or state law or rules and regulations; (d)  specialized details of security arrangements or investigations; (e) developing strategy for negotiations, instructing negotiators, and determining positions relative to matters that may be subject to negotiations; (f) personnel matters; (g) consideration of any documents protected by the mandatory nondisclosure provisions of the Open Records Act or which are exempt from public disclosure under the Open Records Act may be reviewed by the Board during a permitted closed session and are not available for public inspection.  At such time as the Board takes final action on any of these subjects, the minutes will reflect all required disclosures of information.

Agenda Posting:

In accordance with the Colorado Revised Statute 24-6-401, et seq. that was amended effective 1 June 1991, requiring the annual designation of a public place or places for the posting of public notices, this agenda has been posted on the Town of Snowmass Village Public notice bulletin board in the Town Offices, on the public bulletin board on the first floor of the Snowmass Center, at the District Administrative Office and on the District’s web site as required by Colorado Revised Statutes 24-6-402(2)(c), not less than 24 hours prior to the meeting date and time above. All public records relating to each agenda item, including any public records distributed less than 72 hours prior to the meeting to all, or a majority of the Board of Directors, are available for public inspection in the District office.

 

Notice to Directors:

To place items on the agenda for the Regular Meeting of the Board of Directors, items must be submitted to the District Manager 14 days before the scheduled meeting.
